Biography
Eugen Deggeller was born 14 July 1868 in Karras (North Caucasus), a colony that had been settled by Volga Germans in 1809, and he died 23 March 1956 in Göttingen, West Germany. He is the son of Pastor Bernhard Deggeller.
Pastor Eugen Deggeller was ordained on 19 December 1892. He served the parish in Tsaritsyn from 1895 to 1908. From 1908-1915, he served the congregation of St. Michaelis in St. Petersburg. From 1915-1918, he served the congregation of St. Elisabeth in Kronstadt.
