Emigration from Hessen-Hanau

On April 4, 1766, 10 households petitioned the Privy Council of Hessen-Hanau for permission to emigrate to Russia. The petition was approved for the following heads of household:

  • Erasmus Döll (his household settled in the colony of Walter)
  • Peter Steinmetz (his household settled in the colony of Walter)
