Description

Andreas Baumgärtner, son of Andreas & Maria Sybilla Baumgärtner, was baptized on 21 November 1717 in Schwaigern, west of Heilbronn. He married Anna Maria Catharina Meder, and they have a number of children born in Schwaigern including Maria Johanna (born 12 May 1751) and Maria Justina (born 3 October 1754).

The family immigrated to Denmark, departing on 21 June 1762 from Altona and arriving in Flensburg on 26 June 1762. The family resided in Denmark until 1763.

The family then immigrated to Russia, settling in the colony of Dobrinka on 15 April 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 25.
