Johann Heinrich Becker, son of Johann Georg Becker & Anna Christina Schneider, was born in Stafenberg on 3 February 1737. He married on the way to Russia with Agnesa Magdalena Völck, daughter of Johann Heinrich Hector Völck & Catharina Decker. She had been born in Stafenberg on 30 March 1745. They arrived in the colony of Ernestinendorf on 3 August 1767. They are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 31 along with Agnes's younger sister Juliana (age 16).
