Description

Henrich Bender was born about 1687 in Ettingshausen, near Giessen, and died there on 27 September 1744. He married on 25 October 1713 in Ettingshausen to Anna Catharina Alban. She was born on January 1691 in Hattenrod, and died 23 March 1747 in Ettingshausen. Henrich & Anna Catharina had 7 children, all born in Ettingshausen. The oldest son was Conrad (born 15 October 1714) and the youngest Philipp Ludwig (born 4 September 1727).

Conrad had 4 children, all born in Ettingshausen: (1) Anna Elisabeth (born 3 March 1746), (2) Georg (born 11 December 1747), Anna Margaretha (born 8 October 1751), and Anna Catharina (born 25 June 1756). Conrad and the 4 children arrived in Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Perepechin.

Philipp had 5 children, all born in Ettingshausen: (1) Johann Henrich (born 3 June 1755), (2) Elisabetha Catharina (born 29 April 1757), (3) Johannes Henrich (born 18 March 1758), (4) Anna Catharina (born 4 December 1760), and (5) Anna Christina (born 23 April 1764). Philipp and his 3 youngest children arrived in Oranienbaum on 9 August 1766 aboard the Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov.

Both Conrad and Philipp and their families arrived in Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 where they are recorded in Households No. 22 & No. 33, respectively.
