Description

Johann Sebastian Eich married on 1 February 1746 in Nieder-Modau to Sophia Philippina Ramge, daughter of Konrad Ramge. They had a number of children including Elisabeth Margaretha (born 9 February 1753 in Georgenhausen) and Johann Dieterich (born 7 May 1764 in Nieder-Modau).

The family immigrated to Russia, arriving at the port in Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766. They settled in the colony of Dobrinka on 20 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 73.
