Johann Georg Hegwald and his wife Viktoria had five children (all born in Wiedermus) according to the Eckartshausen parish records: Johann Friedrich, born 8 August 1751; Anna Margaretha, born 6 August, 1754; Johannes, born 20 June 1757; Wilhelmina, born 1 June 1760; and Gabriel born 14 April 1763. The family arrived in Russia on 9 August 1766. They settled in Norka and are recorded on the First Settler's List in Family #11.
