Description

Johann Adam Hoffman, from Gelnhaar, and his wife Anna Margaretha, were married on 20 Oct 1757 in Wenings.  The baptisms of four children were recorded in the Wenings parish records:  Anna Elisabeth, born 24 Mar 1759; Johann Heinrich, born 9 Jun 1761; Johannes, born 30 Sep 1763; and Anna Catharina, born 15 Oct 1765.  

The family arrived in Russia on 15 Sep 1766, on the same ship as several of other families from Wenings and Gelnhaar (those families settled in Walter).  The Johann Adam Hoffman family settled in Hussenbach.
