Description

Johann Georg Kaucher, son of Eberhard Kaucher & Eva Eberle, was born on 6 January 1761 in Stein, Baden-Durlach (since 1952 incorporated into Königsbach-Stein) just north of the city of Pforzheim in Baden-Württenberg. Johann Georg, his parents and two older siblings migrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein).

They left Denmark on 22 April 1765 and arrived in the Volga German colony of Reinwald on 14 July 1766. They are recorded in Reinwald on the 1767 census in Household No. 26.
