Johann Georg Kniss (son of Johannes Kniss) and Maria Margaretha (daughter of Johann Heinrich Franck of Radmühl) were married in Büdingen on 14 Apr 1763. In the marriage record, Johann Georg is listed as a Bürger (citizen) and Leinweber (linen weaver). Maria Margaretha Franck had been baptized on 20 Oct 1730 in Unterreichenbach. They had one child according to the Büdingen parish records: Sabina Henrietta Kniss, baptized on 26 Feb 1764. The family settled in Norka and is reported on the Norka First Settler’s list in Family #81.
