Description

Johann Conrad Lein (born 24 Aug 1727 in Kirchbracht, son of Nicolaus Lein) and Anna Barbara Pfister (born 17 Jan 1728 in Kirchbract, daughter of Jacob Pfister) married in Kirchbracht on 8 Oct 1751.

The baptisms of five children are recorded in Kirchbracht: Anna Magdalena, 3 Apr 1752; Lorenz, 21 Jan 1755; Anna Elisabetha, 23 Apr 1758 (died 20 May 1762); Johann Heinrich, 29 Nov 1761; and Johannes, 19 Jan 1766 (died 5 Mar 1766).

The parents and two oldest children arrived in Russia on 4 Jul 1766. In the Moor First Settler’s List, household 24, the widower Johann Conrad is reported with his oldest son Lorenz, and youngest son Peter (who must have been born during the journey). Daughter Anna Magdalena married Johann Peter Klaus and that couple is reported in Moor household 21.
