Johann Conrad Linck (baptized 1 Mar 1726 in Wenings), and Catharina Elisabetha Beck (born on 12 Sep and baptized on 16 Sep 1725 in Wenings), daughter of Johann Erhard Beck, were married in Wenings on 6 Feb 1760. The baptisms of three children are recorded in the Wenings parish records: Maria Catharina, born 4 Jun, baptized 5 Jun 1761; Johann Heinrich, born 18 Aug, baptized 19 Aug 1763; and Sibilla Barbara, born 13 Feb, baptized 17 Feb 1765. It is not clear when the family arrived in Russia, or what happened to the three children. By the time of their arrival in Walter, they have only one child, Johann Heinrich, aged ½. They are recorded on the Walter First Settler’s List in Family #87.
