Ernst Wilhelm Urbach (son of Carl and Anna Catharina Urbach) was baptized in Büdingen on 9 Nov 1732. He married Catharina Elisabetha Ropplebein (daughter of Wolff Heinrich Ropplebein), on 18 Jul 1754. Four children were baptized in Büdingen: Maximilian, 11 Nov 1754; Willhelmina, 23 Oct 1757; Johann Philipp, 21 Mar 1762, Johanna Magdalena, 25 Aug 1765. Ernst Wilhelm, Catharina Elisabetha, Johann Philipp and Willhelmina arrived in Russia on 10 Aug 1766. They settled in Norka a year later and are reported there as Family #31 in the First Settler's List (with the name misspelled “Burbach” in Igor Pleve's Einwanderung in das Wolgagebiet translation).
