Description
Johannes Jacob Weiss, son of Johannes Adam Weiss & Eva Altvatter, was born in Glashofen, today in Baden-Württemberg. The family there has been traced back to his great-great-grandparents in 1600, the earliest records located for this church.
Jacob, his wife, and their son Johann Georg arrived in Shcherbakovka on 15 June 1765. They are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 22.
