Description

Johann Wilhelm Würtz, son of Johannes and Anna Margaretha Würtz of Bergheim, was born on 7 February 1743.  Johann Wilhelm married Anna Maria Lochmann of Himbach on 17 August 1764.  The Eckartshausen parish records report the baptism of one child, Elisabeth, born 23 October 1764 in Bergheim.  The family arrived in Russia on 29 August 1766.  They settled in Norka and are recorded on the First Settler's List in Family #53.  Their household also includes Johann Heinrich Span, whose parents died during the trip to the villages, and who also came from the Eckartshausen parish.
