Description

Conrad Eichhorn and his wife Susanna arrived in Russia on 8 Aug 1766 with five children.  Conrad and his first wife, Elisabeth, had four children baptized on the following dates in Wächtersbach: Catharina Margaretha, 14 Sep 1740; Dorothea Amalia, 16 Sep 1742;  Henrietta, 20 Dec 1744; and Anna, 4 Jun 1750.  Elisabeth died, and Conrad married Susanna Hoffman, the daughter of Phillip Hoffmann, on 2 Aug 1753.  The baptisms of six children are recorded in the Wächtersbach church records: Anna Maria, 19 May 1754; Maria Margaretha, 25 Aug 1755;  Christina Margaretha, 27 Nov 1757;  Johann Isaac, 1 Jun 1760; Johannes, 21 Feb 1762; and Catharina, 15 Jul 1764.  The Eichhorn family is reported on the Huch First Settler’s List in Family #27.
