Description

Johann Heinrich Görlitz and Maria Barbara Conradi (daughter of Hans Georg Conradi) married in Wallernhausen on 17 January 1740. Johann Heinrich and Maria Barbara had five children in Wallernhausen. Among them were Johann Conrad, baptized 21 June 1744, and Maria Elisabetha, born 31 January 1746 and baptized 1 January 1747.  

The Büdingen marriages report that Conrad Görlitz from Wallernhausen married Catharina Schäffer from Ober Laÿs on 27 June 1766. On 29 July 1766, Johann Heinrich Beutel married Maria Elisabeth Görlitz in Lübeck. 

Johann Conrad Görlitz, with his wife Anna Catharina; Johann Heinrich Görlitz, with his wife Maria Barbara; and Johann Heinrich Buetel with his wife Maria Elisabeth; all arrived in Russia on 15 September 1766. 

All three families settled in Yagodnaya Polyana. Conrad Görlitz and his wife Katharina are reported there on the 1767 Census (First Settlers List) in Household #50. Johann Heinrich Beutel and his wife Maria Elisabeth are reported in Household #51, along with his widowed father-in-law Johann Heinrich Görlitz in Household #51(a). 

Conrad Görlitz and his family are reported on the 1798 Census in Yagodnaya Polyana, Household #68. Elisabeth Görlitz and her family are reported in Household #80.
