Description

Johannes Kempel, son of Conrad Kempel, and Anna Clara Roth, daughter of Caspar Roth, were married 9 February 1750 in Rückingen. According to the Rückingen parish records, they had seven children born on the following dates: Anna Clara, 26 Aug 1751, Johann Christoph, Jan 1754 (died on 19 Mar 1754), Johann Christoph, 24 May 1755 (died on 7 Feb 1763), Johann Georg, 6 May 1757, Johann Caspar, 10 May 1760, Anna Amalia Wilhemina, 3 Jul 1762, and Catharina Elisabetha, 27 Feb 1766. The family arrived in Russia on 18 Jun 1766. By the time of the settlement of Kolb, Anna Clara Roth is married to Christian Reuber, and Johann Georg is reported as a child in the Reuber household on the First Settlers List (Family #2).
