Peter & Anna Maria Lederhos(en) and their family lived in Hilsbach, a village that in 1971 was administratively combined with neighboring Sinsheim, about 22 kilometers southeast of Heidelberg in the modern German State of Baden-Württemberg. Their children were each baptized in the Catholic Church in Hilsbach: (1) Maria Magdalena, on 29 March 1747; (2) Maria Eva, on 17 April 1749; (3) Eva Regina, on 2 May 1751; (4) Johannes Matthias, on 22 August 1753; (5) Joseph, on 9 January 1756; (6) Johannes, on 18 December 1757; and (7) Maria Regina, on 18 June 1760.
Peter and his family immigrated to Russia. On 14 July 1766 they arrived in the colony of Rohleder . They are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 32. Daughter Maria Magdalena and her new husband, Matthias Wittmann, are recorded in Household No. 37.
On the 1798 Census, Peter's descendants are recorded in Rohleder in Households No. Rl19 & Rl31. His son Joseph moved to the colony of Herzog in 1796, and is recorded there in Household No. Hr14. Son Johannes Matthias moved to Neu-Kolonie where he is listed on the 1798 census in Household No. Nk12.
