Description

Adam Maÿ was born 12 October 1749 in Langendiebach. He is listed as a servant of the Büchsenschütz family when they arrived in Russia on 18 June 1766. They traveled with a number of families that initially settled in Kolb, including the Kempel and Ruth families from nearby Rückingen. Adam Maÿ settled in Kolb and is reported on the First Settler's List as a single man in Household #25.
