Johann Georg Röder, son of Johann Philipp & Anna Maria Röder, was born on 18 October 1722 in Gross-Bieberau, about 15 kilometers southeast of Darmstadt. He married Anna Margaretha Dorsam, and they had six known children, each born in Gross-Bieberau: (1) Elisabetha Catharina, on 17 March 1750; (2) Eva Maria, in 1752; (3) Elisabetha Margaretha, on 7 January 1755; (4) Anna Catharina, on 12 September 1757; (5) Maria Catharina, in 1758; and (6) Johann Adam, on 26 May 1759.
Johann Georg Röder and his family emigrated to Denmark. They departed from Altona, Duchy of Holstein, on 17 September 1760, and arrived in Fridericia, Jutland, on 29 September 1760. The Röders are recorded in Denmark until 22 February 1764.
They emigrated to Russia where they are recorded on the 1798 Census in the Volga German colony of Beideck in Households No. Bd76 & Bd82.
