Description

Johann Wilhelm Sittner and Anna Maria Jäger (daughter of Christian Jäger) were married in Büdingen on 19 Nov 1748. The baptisms of seven children are recorded in the Büdingen parish records: Johann Georg, 13 Apr 1749; Catharina Elisabetha, 24 Jan 1751; Johannes, 24 Dec 1752; Johann Heinrich, 17 Aug 1755; Maria Catharina, 6 Oct 1757; Johann Philipp, 10 Aug 1760; Heinrich, Nov 1761. Johann Wilhelm, Anna Maria, Johann Georg, Johannes, and Maria Catharina arrived in Russia on 8 Aug 1766. Anna Maria and Johann Georg must have died at some point between their arrival in Russia and their settlement in Huck. The surviving family members, along with Georg’s new wife Kuniginde, and her mother, are reported on the Huck First Settler’s List at Family #40.
