According to the Wolferborn parish records, Johann Heinrich Stürz, son of Heinrich Stürz of Michelau, and Anna Margaretha Geiß, daughter of Nicolaus Geiß, married on 9 Oct 1743. The baptisms of four children are recorded in the Wolferborn records: Johann Ernst, 18 Dec 1743 (died 7 Feb 1744); Conrad, 7 Feb 1745; Johann Adam, 27 Aug 1747; and Johann Ernst, 5 Jul 1753. It is not clear when the family arrived in Russia. Johann Adam and Johann Ernst appear to be the only family members who survived the trip, and are reported on the Kutter First Settler’s List in Family #45.
