Description

Sebastian Lambrecht, son of Jorg Lambrecht & Elisabeth Schopf, was born on 5 March 1726 in Burghausen, a small village south of Wülfershausen in Würtzberg (today in Lower Franconia, Bavaria). He married Barbara (surname unknown) and they had at least 2 children, both born in Burghausen: Nikolaus (born 1754) and Michael (born 1757).

The family immigrated to Russia, arriving in the port at Oranienbaum on 13 September 1766. Barbara evidently died after arrival in Russia. They remainder of the family continued on to settled in the colony of Pfeifer on 22 August 1767. Somewhere along this journey, Sebastian remarried to Anna Maria, and the family is recorded on the 1767 Census of Pfeifer in Household No. 83.

By the time that the 1798 Census was taken, son Nikolaus and his family were living in Semenovka, and son Adam Lambrecht (born after the family arrived in Pfeifer) was living in Brabander.
