Description

Jacob Müller, son of Ezechiel Müller and Anna Barbara Weinman, was born 31 May 1733 in Sprendlingen.  His wife, Susanna Elz, daughter of Adam and Anna Katharina Elz, was born 4 Nov 1728 in Sprendlingen.  They married in Sprendlingen on 28 Sep 1755.  They had four children in Sprendlingen before immigrating to Russia:  Johann Bernhard, b. 26 Sep 1756; Anna Margaretha, b. 29 Aug 1758; Johann Wilhelm, b. 13 Sep 1761; and Anna Gertruda, b. 31 May 1763.  The family arrived in Russia on 18 Jun 1766, on the same ship as most of the initial settlement group of Kolb.  The family is reported on the Kolb First Settlers List in Family #22.  This household includes the orphan Elisabeth Stellwagen, who was also born in Sprendlingen.
