Description

Joseph Wassinger married on 3 November 1750 in Ormesheim, today just southeast of the Saarbrücken airport, to Anna Barbara Schledohr, daughter of Claud Schledohr and Margaretha Lenert. Anna Barbara was the widow of Joseph Kinderknecht, and had several children with him.

Both the Wassinger and the Kinderknecht families immigrated to Russia. The Wassinger family arrived in Graf on 10 June 1766, and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 26. By the time of the 1798 Census, descendants of this family had also resettled to Brabander, Mariental, and Schäfer.
