Description

Johannes Adler (son of Johannes Adler) and Anna Dorothea Dey (born 23 May 1708 in Mittelgründau, daughter of Johann Gabriel Dey) married on 30 Nov 1729 in Langendiebach.  Among their twelve children were Anna Barbara Adler, born 3 Apr 1735 in Niedergründau, and Johannes Adler, born 3 May 1748 in Gettenbach.  Anna Barbara Adler married Christian Rutt in Rückingen.

The Rutt family, Johannes Adler, and his widowed mother, arrived in Russia on 18 Jun 1766 (on the same ship as most of the initial settlement group of Kolb).  The Adler family is reported on the Kolb First Settler's List in Family #12.

One Adler family from Kolb relocated to Brunnental in 1863.
